Women’s Golf Wraps Up 2023 Season Opener

huntsville, Texas – texas southern women's golf finished in 10th place following the conclusion of the Remax Prime Properties Bearkat Invitational hosted by sam houston state University.

Senior Ashlie Hobbs was the top scorer for the tigers with her two-day finish of 159 (80-79). Lyla Vaughn finished four strokes back on 163(82-81). Due to unplayable conditions caused by heavy rain, round 2 was canceled and the tournament has been shortened to 36 holes.

The Tigers are back in action Tuesday, October 3rd as they compete in the UHV vs. Texas Southern, prairie view a&m Tri-Match hosted by the University of houston-Victoria.
