Women’s Golf Concludes Efforts At PGA Works Collegiate Championship, Sitanonth Top Scorer For Tigers

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Texas Southern University women’s golf team finished in seventh place after the final round of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship at Bent Brook Golf Course.

Sophomore Dili Sitanonth finished tied for sixth place and was the top scorer for the Tigers with her 223 (73-77-73) total. Sitanonth made the turn at 3-over-par and carded two birdies on her back nine to end the final round of the season at 1-over. Juniors Ashlie Hobbs comes in 13th place after posting a three-day 228 (75-79-74) total while A’marie Smith’s 243 (79-85-79) placed her tied-35th.

The 2023 PGA Works Collegiate Championship marks the conclusion of the 2022-2023 Wen’s Golf season. The Tigers captured three wins this season including the 2023 SWAC Championship. The 2023-2024 season will commence in the Fall.
