TSUSports.com: Men’s Golf Moves Up 2 Spots After VanHoy’s 1-Under

FLOWOOD, Miss. – The Texas Southern men’s golf team moved up to fourth place following the second round of the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Golf Championship on Tuesday.

Junior Kci Lindskog is tied for fourth place individually after carding an even-par round giving him a one-over two-day total of 145 (73 – 72). Lindskog recorded four birdies, ten pars, and four drops in his second round. Freshman Matthew VanHoy posted one of the only three under-par rounds for the day. VanHoy carded a one-under-par 71 for his two-day 150 (79 – 71) moving him up to T14th. His round included three birdies, 13 pars, and two drops. Darian Faust 152 (76 – 76) and Liam O’Rouke 152 (73 – 79) are tied for 21st while sophomore Ravepon Kosalutte sits on a 158 (78 – 81).

The competing teams play at the Refuge Golf Club, a 6,894-yard par-72 championship course. The Tigers tee up for the final round of the SWAC Championships on Wednesday morning with an 8 a.m. start.
