Lindskog Posts Under Par Round, Men’s Golf In 5th After Day 1 Of PGA Works Collegiate Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Texas Southern University men’s golf team is in fifth place following the opening round of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship at Shoal Creek Club.

Sophomore Kci Lindskog is tied for fifth following his 1-under-par 71 opening round. Lindskog carded three bogeys, nine pars, four birdies, and an eagle during his opening round. Freshman Ravepon Kosalutta posted a 4-over 76 and is tied 17th while sophomore Caden Holmes was one stroke back on 77.

The competing teams alternate courses each day and will be playing at Bent Brook Golf Course, a 6,861-yard par-71 championship course for round two. The Tigers tee up for the next round of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship Tuesday morning with an 8:30 am start.
