Lindskog Posts 2-Under Opening Round at Latour Intercollegiate

MATHEWS, La. – Texas Southern men’s golf teed up the week with the opening rounds at the Latour Intercollegiate hosted by Nicholls State University

Junior Kci Lindskog leads the way for the Tigers after his day one total of 147 (70-77). Lindskog went deep in his opening round posting a 2-under 70 which included 5 birdies, 10 pars, and 3 bogies.

Graduate student Devansh Chadha moved up 6 spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 61st with a two-round total of 153 (78-75). Freshman Matthew VanHoy was two strokes back on 155 (78-77). Junior Liam O’Rourke ended day one with a 151 (73-78) while freshman Matthew VanHoy was two strokes back on a 153 (77-76) while sophomore Darian Faust was one back on a 154.

10 teams will compete in the Latour Intercollegiate, beginning Monday. Nicholls State University is joined by HCU, Mobile, New Orleans, Prairie View A&M, Southeastern, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas Southern, and UIW.

The final round of the tournament will have a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the LaTour Golf Club.
