Soccer To Face Grambling State Sunday Afternoon

The Texas team looks to obtain another win on the road as they head to University Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The began SWAC play Friday with a 2-0 victory against the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Mia Ontiveros and Crisely Pavon scored first half goals while Oriana Palacios had a strong night defensively at goalie.

History says today’s game will be tightly contested as the series is tied 4-4 over the past eight matches. However, GSU has won three of the past four as ’s last win was in 2016.┬áThe past two contests went down to the wire as GSU claimed a 2-1 win in Houston last year and a 1-0 win in Grambling in 2018.
