Texas Southern capped off senior day in style with a dominant 6-1 win over Mississippi Valley State on Sunday afternoon inside Durley Stadium.

Ten minutes later, TSU would get back on the scoreboard as Mia Ontiveros scored followed by Hayden McMillan’s score off Simone Sheridan’s kick for a 4-1 halftime lead.

TSU opened the second half with a goal from Maurie Johnson as she scored off a McMillan header. McMillan would cap off the scoring for TSU with a goal in the 65th minute.

The Tigers finished with 27 shots as Crisely Pavon led the way with five shots. After an intense Friday, goalie Alexis Espino had two saves.
