Ghazal Named SWAC Goalkeeper Of The Week
Texas Southern soccer redshirt sophomore Salma Ghazal has been recognized by the Southwestern Athletic Conference as its Goalkeeper of the Week.
The Sugar Land, Texas native from Kempner High School registered 10 saves in 182:46 minutes played during the course of the week as TSU finished 2-0. Ghazal topped it off with three huge saves in the final 20 minutes in the 2-1 victory over Alabama A&M this past Sunday.

On Friday, Oct. 18, she recorded six saves and saved the game-tying goal in the 85th minute at Alabama State.
Ghazal and the Tigers are back in action this Friday night at home against Grambling State at 7 p.m and Sunday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 1 p.m.
