Bowling Adds Shyanne Ciesiolka To 2020-21 Roster

The Texas Southern University bowling team added another standout student-athlete with the addition of Shyanne Ciesiolka to the 2020-21 roster.

Ciesiolka arrives at TSU after a stellar career at Harker Heights High School in Harker Heights, Texas. She was a 2020 Texas High School Bowling Club state singles qualifier while leading her team to the state tournament. She also posted the top average in her district. As a junior, she helped HHHS reach the state tournament while also participating in the 2019 U17 Junior Gold Championships in addition to placing sixth overall in the U17 Girls Scratch at the 2019 Texas State Pepsi Championships.

In 2018, Ciesiolka made national news as she bowled her first-ever 300 game and was recognized by the National High School Bowling Honor Roll. She also qualified for the THSBC State Tournament in both team and singles play while earning a spot in the 2018 Junior Gold Championships in Dallas. As a freshman, she was a key member of a HHHS team which advanced to the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
