Soccer to Face UAPB At Home

The Texas Southern soccer team will face Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday inside Alexander Durley Stadium at 1 p.m.

Texas Southern (1-10, 0-1) opened Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play on Friday evening with a 3-0 loss to Grambling State. Goalkeeper Jaidyn Christophe registered a match-high seven saves in the effort, while Isabella Dillow paced TSU with five shots with two being on goal.

Scouting Report
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (4-6-1, 0-1) opened SWAC play on Friday as they fell short to Prairie View A&M 3-2. UAPB registered 13 shots with 10 being on goal. Yiselle Bernal put two in the back of the net for the Lady Lions while Mya Sheridan added one. Additionally, Bernal and Iyanah Hicks are ranked first and second in the SWAC for goals this season as Bernal has six and Hicks has five.
