Men’s Golf Places 5th At ASU Spring Classic

PRATTVILLE, Ala. – Texas Southern men’s golf team finished in fifth place after the final round of the ASU Spring Classic opening round hosted by Alabama State University.

Junior Kci Lindskog was the top scorer for the Tigers as he finished tied for 12th individually with his 159 (77-82) total. Junior Liam Orourke was four strokes back and was tied for 19th.

The ASU Spring Classic took place at the Robert Trent Jones Trail – Capitol Hill on The Judge Course and was scheduled to be a 54-hole tournament, however, day one was shortened to 18 holes due to inclement weather. As a result, the Classic was shortened to 36 holes of play over two days.

The Tigers are back on the road this weekend as they will compete in the Gulf Coast Collegiate hosted by The University of New Orleans in New Orleans, LA.
