Dr. Kevin Granger Named 2024 Texas Black Legacy Foundation Honoree

Texas Southern University Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Kevin Granger will be honored by the Texas Black Legacy Foundation on Wednesday, March 27 in Austin, Texas.
 
Granger will be honored with the John E. Kincaide Administration and Community Service Award. Named in honor of the first African American to serve as Dallas ISD’s Executive Director of Athletics, the award recognizes his significant achievements in administration and for his outstanding contributions to countless students and athletes in the State of Texas and beyond.
 
The event will be held at the Accenture Office from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Houston TV personality Gina Gaston, of KTRK-TV ABC13, will serve as event’s hostess. The Accenture building is located on 323 Congress Ave. in Austin.
