HOUSTON- Texas Southern Athletics has announced that a deal has been reached for Under Armour to serve as the official shoe and apparel provider for TSU Tigers Athletics.
"We're extremely excited to announce our new partnership with Under Armour to serve as the official shoe and apparel provider for TSU Athletics," said TSU Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Charles McClelland.
"When we looked at the current market of athletic apparel providers we sought to identify a brand that would help us better market our programs in addition to providing an overall quality product. As we went through the process it became clear that Under Armour embodied both of those main two attributes that we were looking for."
Founded in 1996, Under Armour's global headquarters are located in Baltimore, Maryland with additional offices located in several areas across the globe including London, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Mexico City, and Toronto.
The deal between Texas Southern Athletics and Under Armour is for five years and will officially start on August 1.
