High-scoring games

S-I-N, K-I-T! Sink it, sink it, sink it!
The Tigers are shooting a SWAC-best 46.2 percent (249 of 539) from the floor in conference games. For the season, they are shooting 43.4 percent, which ranks third in the SWAC.

Combs over the offensive boards …
Following Monday's contests, senior transfer Jeremy Combs led the SWAC and ranked eighth in the nation in offensive rebounding, getting to an average of 3.68 of his teammates' missed shots per game.

… and getting easy baskets
All those offensive rebounds Combs gets to are helping him get easy baskets. He ranks second individually – and 32nd nationally – in field goal percentage, making 58.1 percent (122 of 210) of his shots. Combs ranks second in the SWAC to teammate Trayvon Reed, who shoots 64.5 percent (80 of 124) from the floor.

Protect the home boards
Already the best rebounding team in the conference, the Tigers are even more prolific on the boards at home. TSU players average 43.3 rebounds per home game – an increase of nearly five rebounds per game from their overall mark. Meanwhile, the Tigers give up only 33.5 rebounds per game at home to opponents, a drop of more than six per game from their overall total.
