The 2017 Bill Easton Classic at the University of Kansas was one for the personal record books as Perry set new collegiate best marks for himself in the shot put and the weight throw events.
He finished in sixth place in each event, as he made a 13.45m throw in the shot put and a 14.88m toss in the weight throw. Perry's weight throw distance is the best by a SWAC athlete thus far in the season.
