TSUSports.com: Lindskog Has Record Outing, Men’s Golf Wraps Up Play In Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Texas Southern men’s golf team posted a team total of 14-over par 878 (290-288-3000) to finish in 12th place finish at the Colin Montgomerie – HCU 2024 Men’s Husky Invitational hosted by Houston Christian University Tuesday. The tournament took place at Sweetwater Country Club on the Pecan Course.

Junior Kci Lindskog tied for eighth individually with his career-low performance of 7-under-par 209 (69-67-73). Lindskog recorded a personal record of 5-under-par, 67 in his second round which included an eagle, seven birdies, eight pars, one drop, and a triple bogey. Sophomore Darian Faust finished 4-over-par on 220 (71-74-75) that included a 1-under-par 71 opening round. Teammate Ravepon Kosalutta’s 8-over-par 224 (74-71-79) also included a 1-under-par 71 round which was his personal best score to date. Junior Liam O’Rourke finished five strokes back on 229 (78-76-75) while freshman Matt Vanhoy finished on 232 (76-79-77).

The Tigers return to action March 18-19 as they will compete in the Hornet PR Invitational hosted by Alabama State in Puerto Rico.
