The Texas Southern bowling team had a victorious weekend going 2-0 as they won the Texas Claw Cup Exhibition on Saturday against Prairie View A&M and the SHSU Exhibition on Sunday.

“Their [the team’s] mindset was focused on reclaiming the cup,” Rose said. “They did that by keeping up the energy, staying in the moment and filling frames. What went well was the team chemistry. As far as the Colonial Lanes Classic, we are preparing to take it one day a at time.”

Texas Southern will compete in the Colonial Lanes Classic on Friday, Oct. 13 in Harahan, La. The game time is TBA.
