With the cancellation of the HBCU Tipoff Classic, TSU has added two home men’s basketball games to the Tiger basketball schedule. The men’s basketball team will open the season hosting Norfolk State at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both TSU (SWAC) and Norfolk State (MEAC) are preseason favorites to win their respective conferences. On Monday, November 11 the men’s team will host Wiley College at 7:00 p.m.
The women’s team will open the season on the road against Tulsa on Friday, November 8. The Lady Tigers home opener is scheduled for Thursday, November 14 against Houston Baptist at 7:00 p.m. However, the women’s team will be traveling to Rice to play the Lady Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11.

Monday’s game on November 11 against Wiley College has been moved up to 2 p.m. Don’t forget that we open the season up on Saturday against MEAC favorite, Norfolk State, at 5 p.m. Both games will be played at the HPE Arena.
