TSU Men's & Women's Basketball Games 11/14/2013 [MAROON & GREY OUT 3]

The men's basketball team opened up the season with TWO WINS at home against Norfolk State 95-83 and against Wiley 113-96. Today, they play away at Miami at 6pm (view on ESPN3, FREE on campus)!

The women's basketball team opened up the season with a WIN in Oklahoma against Tulsa 88-80 and dropped a close game to Rice 54-61. Today, they host Houston Baptist at 7pm at the H&PE Arena! Be sure to come out and support the Lady Tigers!

Fan support has been good so far this season, so let's keep it up!

Preview of the game via The Sports Xchange... two things that stuck out:

1. The Hurricanes, who went 0-for-15 from beyond the arc in their loss to St. Francis (N.Y.), were tied for 315th nationally in field-goal percentage (35.2) and 310th in assists per game (8.5) entering Wednesday's play. There are 348 NCAA Division I teams.

2. The Tigers are in the top 10 nationally in three categories -- sixth in scoring (104 points per game), seventh in assists (24 per game) and 10th in field-goal percentage (56.8).
