2014 TSU RELAYS SCHEDULE
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Deadline for entry to the TSU Relays will be Saturday, March 16, 2014, 10:00pm. Entry will be accepted online only. All others will not be accepted. Direct Athletics will be handling all entries starting January 6, 2014 starting at 12:00 noon.
ENTRY SITE: MEET REGISTRATION
If you have participated in a major meet within the past year, your user name and password with Direct Athletics will be the same. New users can establish a free account by simply using instructions given on Direct Athletic web site.
FOOT WEAR:
We run on a Mondo surface and ¼” spikes shall be and will be used. (Available spikes can be purchased on sight).

ELIGIBILITY:
Federation rules will apply to all High School Division teams. NCAA rules will apply to Universities/College Athletes .All Athletes and teams must be in good standing with their state interscholastic association. Their school officials must enter all athletes representing their school in the TSU Relays. A qualifying time or mark is not required, but can help in determining lane assignments.
LIMIT OF ENTRIES:
Two (2) athletes per team (High School) will be allowed to compete in individual events and only one (1) team entry per relay will be allowed. Universities/Colleges may enter up to five (5) athletes per individual events. There is no limit for the 800m and up. You may enter your (A) relay team only on University/College levels (fastest eight times). All other relay teams will have to run in section B, C or as open and unattached athletes. Please enter your B-team as such.
ENTRY FEES:
There will be an entry fee of $65.00 for each High School Team (Example: Boys $65 & Girls $65 = $125 for both) or $25.00 per athlete, whichever is lower. This entry fee applies to all divisions. Open /Invitational Athletes fee is $35.00 per athlete or $180.00 per team (six or more). Universities/College entry fee is $200.00 per team ($200.00 Men, $200.00 Women). Middle School entry fee is $25.00 for boys, and $25.00 for girls.
Entry fees are not transferable or refundable. All open participants must have current USATF Cards. You may mail entry fees before the Monday, March 15, 2014 deadline or bring appropriate fees with you.

AWARDS:
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers. Watches and T-shirts will be presented to university and college athletes, medals will be awarded to high school and junior high athletics. T-shirts will be awarded to open athletes.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Each team is responsible for its own meals and housing. This duty will not be handled through the university or by any members of the Relay Committee. Reservations should be made as soon as possible to avoid conflict with Conventions, etc.
PACKAGE PICK-UP:
All changes should be made on line before 12:00 am (midnight) March 16, 2014. Drops can be made when you pick up your packages on Thursday March 20, 2014 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the TSU Health and Physical Education Building. Only drops, no add-on will be accepted unless an athlete is already in the system.
Coaches are asked to turn in all field implements one hour before athlete is to participate in his or her event (hammer, discus, javelin and shot puts).
On Friday and Saturday packages may be picked up at the Track and Field Complex starting at 8:00am. Package pickup ends at Noon on Saturday. Teams will already be seeded and no changes will be accepted at this time.
DROP/ADD PROCEDURE:
No new athlete can be added to your list of athletes at the time of package pickup. Drop-Only process will be used.
Be sure to add all athletes at the time of on-line entry; you will have time to make changes if any, before the March 16, 2014 deadline at 12:00 am (midnight). Information should be reviewed prior to departure to ensure all Athletes entered on line are listed and their events are correct. No Athlete may be added.
