HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers softball team has announced the addition of eight student-athletes to the TSU softball program. Texas Southern Head Softball Coach Worley Barker is pleased with the student-athletes that will join the Lady Tigers next season starting a new era of TSU softball.
“We are really excited about this class,” said Barker. “It’s a very athletic and versatile talented group of student-athletes that will really help our program. This group represents what we value in the program which is strong academics, competitive athleticism and high achievers who believe in working hard to become successful.”

TSU softball opens their season next weekend on Saturday, February 9 at home versus Huston-Tillotson at Memorial Park. The Lady Tigers have a total of 14 home dates on their schedule. Their home finale will take place on April 27 against Prairie View A&M.
