Do we think the season is gonna happen this fall? If so, am I the only not optimistic about our football leadership?

Any notable recruitment updates with our most followed sports of football, basketball, and baseball?

They're still hoping for it... the entire South is waiting for Fall sports, but I think we'll fall in line with other programs if they decide to cancel/postpone

Football & Basketball are definitely recruiting. See @TigerFans on Twitter. I do believe other sports are as well. @tsuball10 said we're only recruiting 4 & 5-star players in basketball

I don't see a spring season happening. Plus, with so many fans losing money this year ... they won't be able to afford to actively participate in 2 football seasons in one year. Call me crazy but I just think we should wait until fall 2021 and let basketball rule the spring semester if possible.
I'm not trying to turn this into a political conversation, but I think things will start to get back to normal near the election.

You're right though... a lot of people are having less money due to COVID. IF they even allow fans back at these games, how many will actually show up while others stay at home worried about infection still? It's a few months away, but 6 months ago we didn't even know COVID existed outside of China. 6 months from now we might be a few days away from the beginning of the football season.

I think it's hard not to get political talking about COVID-19 but we will see. Honestly, I'm not expecting any sport to come back until August 2021 but I would love to be wrong (of course under the right circumstances) b/c one of my favorite things about being an alumnus is supporting and following TSU athletics. And at one point, I was hearing rumors about TSU seeking to end its contract with BBVA and rebuild the stadium on campus or elsewhere nearby? has anyone received feedback on it?

College basketball just announced they will return on November 25:

Spring Football starts in late February for TSU, even though there are other conferences that have already begun, including the Big Ten who just voted to restart.

As far as the contact with BBVA goes, I'm not sure... it was a pretty long contract from what I remember reading -- and if I recall correctly, it was in our favor, so long as we could attract the fans to fill it. The stadium on campus is undergoing some upgrades and improvements and will continue to host games but I think it's not yet ready for NCAA D1 level competition.
