Women’s Track Resumes Indoor Season

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas Southern women’s track team opened the 2020 semester at the Ted Nelson Invitational on the Texas A&M campus this past Friday.

 
Nikole Haroon finished sixth overall in the 400 with a run of 57.14 and was ninth in the 200 as she clocked 25.22. Briana Creeks ran the fifth-fastest time in the SWAC and placed fifth in the 800 after a run of 2:21.92. In the throws, Christelle Nintcheu logged a throw of 41-2.5 in the shot put while Taylor Watson recorded a length of 52-2.75 feet in the weight throw as her mark ranks third in the SWAC.

The Tigers are back in action next weekend at the Green and Gold Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
