Volleyball To Host Youth Summer Camps July 28-30

The Texas Southern volleyball program will host a quartet of summer camps July 28-30 on the campus of Booker T. Washington High School in Houston. 

First year head coach Alexis Austin kicks off her camp with a Passing & Serving Clinic on Thursday, July 28 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for student-athletes in grades 6th through 12th. Later that afternoon, Austin will hold an Attacking & Setting Clinic for student-athletes in grades 6th through 12th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. 

On Friday, July 29, an All-Skills Camp will take place as student-athletes will be divided by age groups. A camp for middle school students (grades 6-8) will take place from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. followed by a high school camp (grades 9-12) from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. 

Camp will commence on Saturday, July 30 with an Advanced Skills Camp which is designed for high school student-athletes (grades 9-12). The camp will feature competitive games and advanced skill training as members of the TSU volleyball program will be present to assist. 

Due to construction projects inside the H&PE Arena on the TSU campus, the camp has been moved to Booker T. Washington High School. The campus is located right off 610 North Loop at 4204 Yale St, Houston, TX 77018.
