Volleyball To Face SWAC Rival Prairie View A&M Monday Night At Home

The Texas Southern University volleyball team returns to action Monday evening for their second consecutive home match against rival Prairie View A&M at 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Tigers fought through to the end in their first match but fell by a 3-1 margin against Southern Friday. The team pushed through strong sets during the entire match where they were neck-and-neck with Southern in the first two sets. TSU won the third set 25-15 but unfortunately were unable to complete a late rally in the fourth set due to a serve rotation error.

As in any rivalry, throw the records out as emotions and adrenaline will play a major factor in what happens but TSU managed to claim an emotional 3-2 win over PVAMU in 2019 at home. However, PVAMU defended its home court with a 3-0 win on Oct. 10, 2019.
