Volleyball Heads To Prairie View A&M Monday Night, Reschedules Grambling State Road Match

The Texas Southern volleyball team hits the road for a quick trip to Prairie View A&M Monday night at 6:30 p.m.

This marks the second straight match against the team’s SWAC rival as they fell 3-1 last Monday in Houston. TSU fell behind 2-0 on Monday but battled back and was within points of forcing a fifth set but a pair of unforced errors late stopped the late rally.

Prairie View A&M has won three of the past four matches as TSU looks to end a two-match streak to them. In Prairie View, the Tigers will have a tough task as their last win up there was in 2017.

Also in volleyball news, TSU’s postponed contest at Grambling State from January has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 13 in Grambling. The match is tentatively scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
