Volleyball Draws Prairie View A&M In SWAC Tournament Opener Friday Evening In Birmingham

The Texas Southern volleyball team will open SWAC Tournament play Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. against rival Prairie View A&M at the The Birmingham Crossplex.

TSU enters as the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 2 Prairie View for the third time this season as PVAMU claimed both matches. The winner of Friday’s match will face either No. 3 Arkansas Bluff or No. 6 Alcorn State on Sunday at 4 p.m. with championship Sunday scheduled for 3 p.m.

This year’s event will be closed to the general public with attendance limited to the family and friends of participating student-athletes. 

The championship match for the event is scheduled to be carried live on the SWAC Digital Network on Sunday, March 28 at 3 p.m.
