Volleyball Adjusts Schedule, Will Face Bethune-Cookman Thursday, Friday

The Texas Southern volleyball team has adjusted its schedule and will host Bethune-Cookman in a non-conference match-up at Barnett Stadium Thursday at 6:30 p.m. On Friday, both teams will collide again in Sugar Land, Texas at Fort Bend High School with a 6:30 p.m. start.

The Tigers were originally scheduled to travel to BCU this weekend for a tournament but all events on the BCU campus have been canceled due to the threat of Hurricane Dorian. BCU was originally scheduled to return to Daytona Beach after its season-opening tournament in Houston but remained in Texas due to the campus closure.

The game is being played at Barnett Stadium due to preparations for the Democratic presidential debate in the HP&E Arena.

Admission to Thursday’s contest is $3 as Barnett Stadium is located at 6800 Fairway Drive which is between Long Drive and Telephone Road off 610 South Loop East. Fort Bend Austin is located at 3434 Pheasant Creek Drive in Sugar Land.
