TSU Men’s Basketball To Face LSU Saturday Afternoon

The Texas Southern men’s basketball team has adjusted its schedule and will travel to Baton Rouge, La. to face LSU on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.

The contest will be televised on the SEC Network and broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. 

TSU was originally scheduled to face Southern Cal on Wednesday after toniht’s game at BYU but USC was forced to pause all men’s basketball activities last week which resulted in a game cancelation. As a result, the Tigers made a quick adjustment and will head east to Baton Rouge for their first meeting against LSU since 2016 and third all-time.

Saturday’s game also marks the return to the alma mater of TSU head coach Johnny Jones. Jones is a former head coach, assistant coach and student-athlete at LSU.
