Tigers put winning streak on the line at Alabama State

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Tigers of Texas Southern University will put their eight-game winning streak on the line Saturday when they visit Alabama State. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m., or approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the women’s game between the two schools.

With a win, Texas Southern (16-11) could clinch a top-two finish in the Southwestern Athletic Conference standings. The Tigers currently sit in second place with an 11-3 conference record, and a win over Alabama State (11-14, 9-5 SWAC) would give TSU a season sweep.
