Tiger Bowling Hits Roadblock After Day 2 Of SWAC West Round-Up

DALLAS – Texas Southern took a step back and slipped to fourth overall after the second day of the SWAC West Bowling Round-Up.

TSU (4-4 SWAC) opened the second day with a 962-791 loss to Alabama State followed by an 831-784 defeat to Southern. The Tigers dropped their third match to Prairie View A&M (914-794) before rebounding to defeat Grambling State 765-612 in their last match of the day.

Summer Salak leads the way for the Tigers with a 178.6 average after 10 games as she ranks 10th overall. Samantha Kriner ranks 13th overall and second on the team with a 177.10 average.

The Tigers will battle Alabama A&M, Alabama State and Southern in the finale on Sunday.
