The Tigers added to their lead in the fifth as Crimson Davis hit a leadoff single and a Lamar throwing error allowed Robins to reach base while Davis moved over to third. Haslam upped the score to 4-1 via a single which eventually led to Tate’s second RBI and a 5-1 lead. Paige Jackson closed out the scoring with a sac fly for a 6-1 advantage.
Gendorf went the distance as she allowed only four hits and a run scored. Robins, Tate and Rodriguez all had two hits as Rodriguez and Tate drove in two RBI.
