The Texas Southern softball team is back in action Wednesday afternoon for a single game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Memorial Park. The contest has been pushed up an hour and will begin at 3 p.m.
Both teams are back on the field for the first time in 11 days as both haven’t played since April 18. TSU is beginning an important stretch of games with home field advantage as its next four games are at Memorial Park.
Wednesday’s game will be intense as the series is tied 5-5-1 since 2017. TSU last defeated the Islanders by an 8-6 margin in 2018 in Houston as this marks the first time since that game the Islanders have played on TSU’s home field.
