Soccer Back In Action With Pair Of Games This Weekend

The Texas Southern soccer team continues its non-conference schedule back on the road this weekend as they take on Texas A&M International on Friday in Laredo and St. Mary’s on Sunday in San Antonio.

The Tigers are back in action after suffering a 6-0 defeat against the University of Montana last week. Sophomore Sammie Garcia and freshman Kaila Smith each had shots on goal attempts while graduate student Oriana Palacios and junior Jaidyn Christophe had a combined total of nine saves in the goal.

Kickoff for Friday’s match against Texas A&M will start at 8 p.m. Sunday’s match against St. Mary’s will be at 1 p.m. Both matches are scheduled to be live streamed.
