Sitanonth 5th, Women’s Golf Tied For 6th Following 2nd Round Of PGA Works Collegiate Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Texas Southern University women’s golf team is tied for sixth place after the second round of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship at Shoal Creek Club.
 
Sophomore Dili Sitanonth moved up two spots on the leaderboard to fifth place at the end of day two with her 150 (73-77) total. Junior Ashlie Hobbs remains tied for 13th on 154 (75-79).
 
The competing teams alternated courses each day and will be playing at Bent Brook Golf Course, a 5,772-yard par-71 championship course for round three. The Tigers tee up for the final round of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship Wednesday morning with a 10:00 a.m. start.
