Texas Southern junior forward Yahuza Rasas has been named the Southwestern Athletic Conference’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after his impressive efforts throughout this past week of play.
The St. Louis, Mo. native averaged 13 points and nine rebounds in two games this past week. He nearly averaged a double-double as he scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds at Gonzaga. Rasas also had a double-double in the first half last week in the win over Concordia as he finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds off the bench.
