HOUSTON – Christelle Nintcheu recorded a personal best indoor throw in the shot put as the TSU women’s track team participated at the Houston G5 & Super 22 Invitational this past weekend.

Nintcheu set the mark on her fourth attempt in the event as her mark of 44-9.75 was good for sixth place overall in the highly competitive field. The mark also ranks as the third-best throw in the SWAC. T’Nia Sample had a season-high mark in the long jump while the mike relay won both of their heats, respectively.

Briana Creeks ran a season-best time in the mile along with Emily Condon and Cassidy True in the 5,000. Rakayla Robertson also posted a season-best in the 60-meter hurdles.
