Men’s track team competes in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Kenneth White’s third-place finish in the 400-meter run led the Tigers of Texas Southern University at the first day of Texas A&M’s Ted Nelson Invitational.
 
At the Gilliam Indoor Track facility, White finished the event with a time of 48.29 seconds. He finished second among four-year college competitors.
 
In the 800-meter run, TSU’s Jacob Price finished ninth with a time of 1 minute, 58.46 seconds.
 
The Tigers had two top eight finishers in the 60-meter dash, with Jordee Archer Harvey and Roman Turner both finishing with times of 6.85 seconds. Turner had the top time of 6.77 in the event preliminaries.
 
Meanwhile, Harvey also turned in a top ten finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.13 seconds.
 
Texas Southern’s entry in the 4×400-meter relay finished fourth with a time of 3:19.02.
