Men’s Golf Concludes Play At Big Texan Invitational

KERRVILLE, Texas – The Texas Southern University men’s golf team concluded the final round of play of the Big Texan Invitational hosted by UTRGV Tuesday afternoon.

Devansh Chadha was the top scorer for The Tigers after his two-over round of 74 to finish tied 20th individually. He posted a final score of 222 (77-71-74). Senior, Tanner Skiles had a one-shot improvement in his final round and carded a two-over 74. As a team, the Tigers carded 27 birdies.

“We are improving as a program and we seem to be in a great space,” Texas Southern head coach Dr. Gary Grandison said. “We know where we need to improve, and we seem committed to the big picture.”

The Tigers will gear up for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Golf Championship in Alexandria, La. from April 18-21. They will be teeing up at the Oakwing Golf Club.
