Gresham Invited To G-League Elite Camp

TSU men’s basketball standout Brison Gresham is one of 44 student-athletes invited to the annual NBA G League Elite Camp May 16-17 in Chicago, Ill.

The event gives draft prospects an opportunity to display their skills in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches and front-office executives over the course of the camp by playing in five-on-five games and participating in strength and agility drills. The top performers from the camp will be invited to the NBA Draft Combine, which will take place May 18-22 in Chicago. Some NBA players who’ve participated in past G League Elite Camps include Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado, Pacers forward Oshae Brissett, Clippers wing Terance Mann and Heat wing Max Strus.

Gresham continues to impress as he was TSU’s team leader in rebounds (7.3) and blocks (71). He had 10-plus games with three or more blocks including six with five more blocks. He had a high of seven blocks at UTRGV on Dec. 14 and also had five double-doubles on the season. For his efforts on the court he was selected to participate in the inaugural HBCU All-Star Game in his hometown of New Orleans on April 3 and put on a dominant performance down low finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks.
