The Texas Southern University men’s and women’s golf teams return to action this week with tournaments on the road.
The men’s team last participated in the Big Texan Invitational where sophomore Devansh Chadha was the top scorer for TSU after his final score of 222 (77-71-74) to finish tied 20th individually. ON the women’s side, senior Rev Alcantara was the top finisher for the women’s in the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Women’s Invitational.
“Both teams continue to work on what is needed to conclude the season on a high note,” Texas Southern University head golf coach, Dr. Gary Grandison said. “This will be the final tournaments before SWAC, so we know what we need to do.”
The men’s team will be competing in the Lone Star Spring Invitational hosted by the University of Houston and playing at The Golf Club of Houston with the practice round on Sunday, 36 holes on Monday, and the final round on Tuesday.
The women’s team will compete in the Women’s National Collegiate in Pine Mountain, Ga. at Callaway Gardens Resort. The practice round is on Monday, followed by two rounds of play Tuesday and Wednesday.
