Creeks Named SWAC Cross Country Runner of the Week

Texas Southern sophomore Briana Creeks was named the SWAC’s Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday.

The Houston native had a strong showing at the Houston Baptist Cross Country Carnival last Thursday morning as she placed fifth overall in a time of 19:59.8. Creeks averaged 6:26.1 per mile as she ran another career-best time in the 5K for the third consecutive week.

Creeks and the Lady Tigers are back in action Thursday evening at Prairie View A&M as they’ll run at the Clifton Gillard Invite at 5 p.m. on the PVAMU campus.
