Creeks Leads Women’s Cross Country At Texas Invitational

ROUND ROCK, Texas – Sophomore Brianna Creeks was the top finisher for the Texas Southern women’s cross country team at the annual Texas Invitational Cross Country Meet on Friday evening.

Creeks finished 28th overall with a time of 20:58.31 at the meet. It was a career-best time for Creeks on a 5K course. 

Freshman Phoebe Villarreal followed Creeks in a time of 23:00 while Cassidy True (23:21.04), Esperanza Cisneros (26:36.55) and Emily Condon (26:45.9) rounded out the performers for TSU.

The Lady Tigers are back in action in two weeks at the McNeese State Cowboy Stampede on Sept. 28 in Lake Charles, La.
