Corley Named SWAC Newcomer of the Week

Junior wide receiver Donnie Corley was selected as the SWAC’s Newcomer of the Week after his career-high performance at Houston Baptist.
 
Corley caught a career-high 12 receptions for 198 yards at HBU on Saturday evening. The Detroit, Mich. native recorded an 84-yard touchdown reception late in the second quarter against the Huskies. Corley currently ranks fourth in the SWAC with 88 yards per game as he has 25 catches for 352 yards on the season.
 
Corley and the Tigers will return to action this weekend as they’ll travel to Alabama A&M on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. in Huntsville, Ala.
