Bowling Starts Off Hot At SWAC East Roundup

D’IBERVILLE, Miss. – Texas Southern bowling jumped out to a 3-1 record after the first day of action at the SWAC East Roundup.

 TSU opened the roundup with a tough loss to Prairie View A&M but rebounded with a solid 936-895 win over Alabama State. The Tigers knocked off Alabama A&M 791-755 before closing out the day with a close win (807-795) win over Southern.

TSU is currently in fourth place (8-8) with two days left to make a move towards the top of the SWAC standings. The Tigers will face Jackson State, Grambling State, Prairie View A&M and Alabama State on Saturday.
