Bowling Opens SWAC West Round-Up With 3-1 Mark

DALLAS – Texas Southern opened the first day of the SWAC West Round-up with a 3-1 record at USA Bowl.

Playing their first match of 2020, the Tigers opened the day with a 12-pin win (852-840) over Prairie View A&M and followed it up with a 741-660 win over Grambling State. TSU would drop its third match to Jackson State by an 865-831 margin but rebounded for a 848-808 win over Alabama A&M.

Samantha Kriner currently ranks second overall with a 195 average as she had high games of 214 and 212. Leanna Martinez ranks second and eighth overall (177.6) while Summer Salak is third and 13^th overall (172.4).

TSU returns to the lanes Saturday morning as they’ll face Southern, Prairie View A&M, Grambling State and Jackson State.
