BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Texas Southern pitcher Jasmin Fulmore has been named the Southwestern Athletic Conference's Softball Pitcher of the Week after her performances during games played from Feb. 19-25.

Fulmore made two starts, posting a 1-1 record during Texas Southern's recent week of play. As part of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Invitational tournament, the senior hurler amassed a 2.69 ERA as well, recording 11 strikeouts in 13 innings of work.
She capped her week with a victorious eight-inning outing where she allowed just one earned run and sat down seven hitters during the Lady Tigers' 4-3 victory over Nebraska-Omaha.
