TSU Football Spring Game slated for April 15

HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers football team has announced that they will host their Annual Maroon versus Grey Spring Game on Saturday, April 15th at 12:00 pm. The scrimmage will be held at Texas Southern's Alexander Durley Stadium.
"We want to invite all TSU students, faculty, staff, fans, alumni, and supporters to this event," said TSU head coach Michael Haywood. "We're trying to create a new culture here within the Texas Southern Football program and we want everyone associated with this great University to be a part of that process."
The spring game will bring a close to the Texas Southern Tigers' practices/drills prior to the team reporting back for Fall camp.
The Tigers will officially kick-off the 2017 campaign on Saturday, August 26th at the Jake Gaither Classic versus Florida A&M. The contest which is slated to be played in Tallahassee will be the 12th meeting on the gridiron between the two institutions.
