HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers football team wrapped up their second week of spring camp as they get set to hold their final spring practice sessions over the course of the upcoming days.
"Our team has steadily improved each day that we've been out here practicing," said TSU head coach Michael Haywood.
"Improvement is what you want to see each day out there on the field and our team has really embraced that concept. We want to be a disciplined, physical football team when we take the field next season and that process requires a lot of hard work, attention detail and consistent focus."
Texas Southern will host six more spring practices before closing out camp with its spring game.
TSU football has announced that they will host the Annual Maroon and Grey football game on Saturday, April 15th at 12:00 noon on campus at Alexander Durley Stadium.
