HOUSTON- Texas Southern Athletics will host theme nights during the Tigers and Lady Tigers last four basketball regular season games set to be held at HPE Arena.
In an effort to celebrate Texas Sothern's mascots' birthday, the men's and women's basketball teams will be throwing Tex and Rex a birthday party when the Tigers take on Jackson State on Saturday, February 10th. All kids 17 and under will get complimentary admission, and will have the chance to participate in games and contests.
Greek night will take place on Monday, February 12th, with special seating for Greek organizations. We encourage all students to attend as we will serve pizza to the first 100 students in attendance courtesy of Domino's. There will also be a Greek Olympics contest and Greek scroll at the halftime of the men's and women's games.
TSU Athletics will welcome back all alums, by hosting an alumni night when the Texas Southern battles Alabama A&M on Saturday, February 24th. Any Texas Southern alumni wearing TSU gear will be able to purchase a discounted ticket at $6.
For the final home game of the season (Feb. 26), TSU will host senior night and staff appreciation night. All TSU faculty and staff will get complimentary admission upon presentation of their Tiger 1 card.
